Judith L. Martin “Judy” 81 of Washington went to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 10, 2021.
Judy was born on March 6, 1940 in Washington to the late Mabel Irene (Morris) Hill and Benjamin Hill.
Judy was married to Arthur on March 28, 1958 and was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed playing the piano and fellowship with her church family at Faithway Baptist Church; Judy of course loved spending time with her children and grandchildren as well. She retired from Crane after many years and enjoyed traveling after her retirement. She actually enjoyed trips of any kind and just simply going new places and trying new things. Judy was a caring, loving, and adventurous soul who will be missed greatly by all those who knew her.
Judy is survived by; her loving children, Timothy Martin, Kathi Briggeman (Chris), G.G. Fletcher (Terry), Debbie Wheeler (Gary); six grandchildren, Rachael Fleetwood (Casey), Jordan Briggeman (Miriam), Clay Briggeman (Amy), Brianna Hart (Lance), T.J. Martin (Lisa Golliver), and Ben Wheeler; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; her loving husband, Arthur “Art” Martin; grandson, Noah Briggeman; siblings, Ruth Monaghan, Richard Hill, and Florence Nail; and daughter-in-law, Cindy Martin.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 12:30 until 1:00 P.M. at New Veale Creek Cemetery with a service immediately following conducted by Pastor Terry Fletcher.
