The Daviess County Right to Life held their annual banquet last Thursday.
According to the Odon Journal, over 400 people from the Daviess, Martin, and Pike County areas were in attendance.
Alex and Tera Knepp received the Adoptive Family of the year award. The family currently has six daughters of which three were adopted.
An award was also presented to Wanita Showers in memory of Lou Showers for his contributions to the organization. Joe Henson also received an award for his contributions.
Speakers included Kena Robling who spoke about her journey to salvation following an abortion that left a negative impact on her life.
Congressman Larry Bucshon also spoke at the event along with First Choice Solutions Director Yolonda Taylor.
