The new dog park is now open at South Park in Washington.
The Washington Parks & Recreation Department made the long-anticipated announcement yesterday.
The new dog park features a fenced area for smaller dogs and a separate fenced area for larger dogs.
It also features several outdoor playground structures for the furry visitors.
All dogs must be on a leash while entering and existing the park and must have a collar or harness on while in the park.
All dogs must also have current vaccinations and owners are legally responsible for their own pets.
South Park is located just off HWY 57 South in Washington.
