Local health officials are continuing to see a downward trend of COVID cases.
The Daviess County Health Department reported 37 new cases of COVID-19 last week.
Of those cases, 24 individuals were unvaccinated with one of those being a child under the age of 12. The other 13 individuals were fully vaccinated.
The Health Department also reported 2 more COVID deaths bringing that overall total to 116.
Daviess County is still in Orange Status and is showing a 7-day positivity rate of 10.5% on the state’s COVID map.
Knox and Gibson Counties are also in Orange Status. Martin, Greene, Pike, and Dubois Counties are now in yellow status.
