The Indiana Pacers snapped a four-game losing streak with a 131-118 victory over the San Antonio Spurs at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Indianapolis Colts coach Frank Reich said Monday that wide receiver T.Y. Hilton will miss Thursday night’s game against the New York Jets due to a concussion. Hilton went down hard in the fourth quarter of Indy’s 34-31 overtime loss to the Titans.
Purdue linebacker Jalen Graham was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week after he had two interceptions in the Boilermakers’ win over Nebraska Saturday. The 6-foot-3 junior had a 45-yard interception return in the second quarter of the 28-23 victory over the Cornhuskers, followed by an interception in the third quarter. Graham also compiled six tackles with five of them solo and defended a pass. The Boilers are 5-3 overall and 3-2 in the Big Ten, and host sixth-ranked Michigan State Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium.
