Jerry Alan Adams, 83, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021. He was born in Plainville, November 25, 1937, to John Quincy and Velma Lucille (Edwards) Adams. He married Betty (Goodpasture) Adams on April 9, 1993, in Henderson, Kentucky.
After high school graduation, Jerry served honorably in the United States Army. He was retired from the City of Washington’s Water Department, and Perdue. Jerry loved the outdoors and was an avid mushroom hunter. He also enjoyed fishing. He was a member of the American Legion and the Eagles.
Those who mourn Jerry’s passing include his wife, Betty; his children: Alan White of Elnora, Julie (David) Hinkle, Angie Dillon, and Robert (Dana) Adams, all of Washington; stepchildren: Gerald (Lisa) Thompson of Lexington, Kentucky, and Julie Clark of Washington. Additionally, Jerry leaves several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
During his lifetime, Jerry mourned the loss of his parents, John and Velma Adams; and son-in-law, Roger Clark.
Graveside services for Jerry Adams will be held Friday, November 12, 2021, at 1:00 pm, in the Plainville Cemetery. Pastor George Faith will officiate.
