A couple of local turkeys are heading to the White House next week for an annual tradition.
Each year, the President of the United States pardons a turkey before Thanksgiving. This year, that turkey along with an alternate, will be provided by Farbest Foods in Jasper according to 44 News in Evansville.
The birds will be a part of the 74th celebration of the event.
No announcements have been made regarding the names of the birds.
