The Washington Community School Board held a public hearing on the proposed contract for the school system’s superintendent Monday at noon.
While the hearing is required by Indiana law and notice of the meeting had been published, no community members attended.
The proposed contract covers 260 days per year at an annual salary of $119,000.
Most of the other items mirror the contract of the systems teaching staff.
The three-year contract for the superintendent will begin on July 1, 2022.
