Last night, many local businesses and community members gathered at the National Guard Armory in Washington for the Annual Daviess County Chamber of Commerce Banquet.
Over 250 guests were attendance to enjoy food and fellowship with colleagues and family.

Several Awards were also handed out last night as part of the annual tradition.
This year’s “Business of the Year Award” went to True RX for their $1.8 Million dollar investment into the community. Their new 15,000 square foot facility is expected to bring nearly 100 jobs to Daviess County. CEO Mark Williams expressed gratitude to all involved…
“Small Business of the Year Award” went to Bill & Betty Bobe’s Pizza Express for their help in catering so many local events.
Daviess Community Hospital was the recipient of the “Daviess County ‘Impact’ Award” for their work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Davies County Councilman Tom Shaffer received the “Hagel Award”, for his many contributions to the community.
Ty Madison received the “Dillion Tourism Award” for his work at the ball fields and promoting sports tourism.
AJ Miles was the recipient of the “Firestarter” Award and was highlighted for his involvement with the Rotary Club and United Way Campaign.
Finally, Daviess County Chamber of Commerce Board President, Cara Veale, received the “Outgoing President Recognition Award” for all of her hard work at the Chamber.
