Several area agencies helped a family yesterday who lost everything in a weekend fire.
Fire crews responded to a residential fire at the Oakwood Mobile Home Park in Washington on Saturday around 11:45 am.
Authorities reported that upon arrival, the home was fully engulfed in flames.
The Washington Township Fire Department says crews were able to make a quick knockdown of the fire and thus prevent it from spreading to nearby structures. No injuries were reported. Several other agencies were also on scene.
The next day, members of the Washington Firefighters Local 495 , the Washington Fire Department, and the Washington Township Fire Department, along with Family members, were able to help the family of the fire obtain clothing and other necessities.
