Indiana’s public emergency may finally be coming to an end.
The state legislature has a one-day special session scheduled for next Monday, November 29th.
The plan for that day’s session is to vote on ending the COVID-19 pandemic emergency order, which is now in it’s 20th month.
Governor Eric Holcomb first activated the emergency order in March of 2020 and has since extended it every month.
Governor Holcomb has offered to work with lawmakers to roll-back most of the order, but Holcomb wants to keep some pieces of the order in place to continue receiving more federal aid.
