Washington grabbed a nice win on the road last night to make it five in a row 61-39 over Vincennes Lincoln. 21 points for Alaina Thorne in the Hatchet win. The Lady Hatchets travel to Linton Saturday afternoon.
Linton defeated South Knox yesterday 38-32.
North Daviess fell at Loogootee 43-33.
Pike Central over Tell City 47-33.
Shoals dropped one to Paoli 57-25.
Washington Catholic will host Vincennes Rivet at the Bird Cage tonight.

North Daviess held on for a nice opening win at Loogootee 41-36.
Jasper beat Southridge 66-41.
Shoals over Dugger 65-34.

Indiana cruised to a 70-35 win over Jackson State Tuesday night at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Xavier Johnson led IU with 14 points and seven rebounds, while Trayce Jackson-Davis had 11 points and four blocks for the Hoosiers, which improved to 5-0. IU held Jackson State to 21 percent shooting, and the Tigers made just 3-for-19 from 3-point range. Indiana led by 17 at halftime, and outscored Jackson State 13-0 to start the second half. IU hosts Marshall Saturday night at home to close out the Hoosier Classic.
Butler fell to Texas A&M 57-50 Tuesday in the Maui Invitational in Las Vegas. The Bulldogs trailed by 12 at halftime before a second half rally to get within three with 30 seconds left. Jair Bolden led the Dawgs with 10 points off the bench. Butler turned it over 19 times and shot just 36 percent, including 5-of-20 3-pointers. The Bulldogs fell to 3-3, and will play Chaminade in the seventh-place game at 9 p.m. Eastern Wednesday night. Notre Dame defeated Chaminade late Tuesday. The Fighting Irish opened the second half on a 21-0 run to take control. Six Fighting Irish players scored in double figures, led by Dane Goodwin with 17. Notre Dame will face Texas A&M for fifth-place Wednesday at 11:30 p.m.
The Indiana Pacers return home to play LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers Wednesday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Blue and Gold are coming off a dominating 32-point victory over the Bulls in Chicago. Indiana is 8-11, but has won two in a row. The Lakers have struggled to a 9-10 start and have lost four out of five. L.A. was without LeBron James Tuesday night due to suspension and fell to the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Pacers guard Caris LeVert is questionable with back soreness that has caused him to miss eight games so far this season. Indiana will play nine of their next ten games at home after a grueling start to the season. The Pacers and Lakers get underway at 7 p.m. Eastern.
Notre Dame moved up to number six in the College Football Playoff rankings released Tuesday night. The Fighting Irish are 10-1 after drubbing Georgia Tech last weekend. Georgia remained number one, and Ohio State moved up two spots to second. Alabama dropped to third, and Cincinnati entered the top four for the first time. The Bearcats are 11-0 and became the first team from a Group of 5 conference to ever crack the top four. Michigan is number five, followed by Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Ole Miss and Oklahoma. The Fighting Irish jumped ahead of Oregon and Michigan State, which were both blown out to fall out of playoff contention. Notre Dame closes out the regular season Saturday night at Stanford.
