The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office says they have received multiple reports from concerned citizens about another phone scam.
Individuals say the phone calls they have received were in reference to Publishers Clearing House.
The phone scammers usually provide an address they believe to be yours and then ask that you confirm that address.
Upon confirmation, they say they will be arriving at your house shortly with your earnings.
Police advise the public that this is a SCAM and tell citizens to always use caution when dealing with people over the phone.
They remind all citizens to avoid giving out or confirming any personal information to unknown callers.
