Mildred “Sue” Fox, 77 of Washington, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.
Sue was born in Washington on August 18, 1944 to the late Catherine Brummett Yerkes and Sherman R. Yerkes.
Sue was a homemaker and her biggest joy in life was her family. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Randy Fox (Lydia), Rita Todd (Charlie), Richard Fox, Ron Fox (Chastity); siblings, Esther Fleetwood, Jean Mayhew, and Marsha Reisert; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Sue was preceded in death by; a daughter, Rebecca Smith; siblings, Margaret Grow, Alberta Cannon, and Joseph, Charles, Leroy, and Sherman Yerkes.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son-Gill Funeral Home, 308 E. Walnut St. with a service following on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at The Washington Free Methodist Church, 1155 Troy Rd. Washington, IN 47501 with a message delivered by Pastor Adam Conder.
