Share the Warmth Coat & Blanket Drive Successful

‘Tis the Season of Giving. Yesterday, 40 kids’ coats were delivered to the Daviess County Health Department.
The coats were collected in October and November as part of the Share the Warmth campaign hosted by Daviess Community Hospital, area clinics, and churches.
The First Mennonite Sewing Circle also donated 15 NEW coats to the health department as part of their mission project.
These coats will be given to children who need warm and appropriately sized coats and jackets.
Hundreds of clothing items will be sent to Westminster Presbyterian Church in Washington this week.
They will serve as a distribution site.
More than 110 blankets will be distributed on December 23rd by DCH team members at Feed My Sheep in Washington.
All those involved say thank you to all community members who donated to this campaign.
