It was a busy morning yesterday for area EMS Teams, Law Enforcement Officers, and Firefighters.
Several accidents were reported in and around Daviess County attributed to black ice and winter driving conditions.
A vehicle overturned on I-69 around 4:00 am.
The accident had traffic blocked in the southbound lane for some time.
Two injuries were reported and AIR EVAC was initially called in, but later disregarded.
Over in Vincennes, crews battled two structure fires.
The first was reported a little after 7:30 am on North 3rd Street. An apartment building sustained some damage, but there were no injurers.
A second fire was reported a few minutes later at 512 Manilla Street. The interior of the house sustained most of the damage, but no one was hurt.
