Several fire crews were on the scene of a house fire yesterday morning in Gibson County.
The fire was reported at about 10:24 am at the 400 block of North Railroad Street in Fort Branch.
The Haubstadt Fire Territory and Fort Branch Fire Department were the first on scene followed by the Owensville Montgomery Fire Protection District and Princeton Fire Territory.
Authorities say the house was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival.
They stated all fire crews worked very well together and did an outstanding job extinguishing the fire and protecting exposures.
Many items were able to be salvaged for the family, however, much of the home was a total loss.
No injuries were reported.
