The Vincennes Police Department is introducing K9 Boca.
Boca is a 15-month-old German Shepherd weighing in at 80 pounds.
Boca was imported from Europe as an 8-month puppy and went through approximately 4 weeks of training before Sgt. Caswell received him last week.
Boca is a dual purpose K9 trained in aggression, handler protection, tracking, and narcotic detection.
The Vincennes Police Department thanked the public earlier this week for helping them obtain the new K9 through community donations.
