A Loogootee man was arrested after driving drunk around Jasper shopping center.
Jasper Police say they were dispatched to the Southgate Shopping Center at 305 US 231 in reference to a possible intoxicated driver around 10:18 am yesterday morning.
Police say the caller reported seeing a man get into the driver’s seat of a maroon Ford Fusion in the parking lot.
Upon officer’s arrival, the male driver was identified as 36-year-old Matthew Flynn of Loogootee.
Flynn was found to be under the influence of alcohol and later tested .332 on a certified chemical test.
Flynn was booked into the Dubois County Security Center and charged with Operating While Intoxicated with Prior Conviction and Operating While Intoxicated with a Blood Alcohol Level Over .15.
