Anna L. Craney, 70, of Montgomery, Indiana passed away at 5:42 a.m. on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at the Legends Village.
She was born on July 22, 1951 in Washington, Indiana to the late Donald W. and Betty L. (Toy) Craney.
Anna graduated from Barr-Reeve High School in 1969. She was a Barr-Reeve Viking and St. Louis Cardinal fan. Anna was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Montgomery. She retired from Crane Army (CAAA) in October 2014 as a General Supply Specialist. She enjoyed working in the yard, mowing grass and visiting with siblings, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald W. and Betty L. Craney; great-niece, Paisley Morgan.
Anna is survived by her brother, Fred (Rita) Craney of Washington; sisters, Janet (William Jr. “Bill”) Baker of Washington, Sharon (James R. “Bob”) Ellis of Montgomery, Linda (John) Divine of Loogootee and Mary (William “Greg”) Litherland of Washington; brother-in-law by choice, Ron Morgan of Fishers; nieces and nephews, Chad (Karie) Craney, Audrey (Joe) Broussard, Brian (Branddee) Baker, Brent (Abby) Baker, Bryana (Andrew) Wilson, Anita Ellis, Michael Ellis, Christina (Joe) Hastings, Michelle (Craig) Ash, Jamie Divine, Becky Divine (Fiancé, Joshua Minks), Andrea (Byron) Wening, Ryan (Brittany) Morgan and Casey (Zach) Cornwell; niece by choice, Tina Baker; great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaitlyn, Brock and Logan Craney, AJ, Addie, and Ava Talbert, Wyatt and Avery Baker, Konner and Emma Patton, Cale, Hayden, Sawyer, Graham, Landrie, Collins, and Hayes Baker, Brooklyn and Austin Wilson, Lucas and Carson Hastings, Michaela, Vince, and Maggie Ash, Liam Qualkenbush, Kaleb and Abbigail Meyer, Jayce and Jaxon Wening, Kalli, Royce, and Rowan Morgan, Oaklyn and Rhett Cornwell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Sudhakar Bhastati at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Montgomery. Burial will follow in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Montgomery.
Social distancing guidelines must be followed and the family requests that all in attendance wear a face mask.
