A car stuck in high water in Dubois County may be there a little bit longer.
Dubois County Deputies were called to the scene of an unoccupied vehicle stalled in high water on 400 S between 400 W and 550 W yesterday afternoon.
Deputies say “High Water Road Closed” signs were in placed in the area.
Due to cold temperatures and the current of the water, conditions were deemed unsafe to retrieve the vehicle.
Officers say the vehicle will be removed once authorities are able to safely retrieve it.
Departments in Daviess and Martin County are also reminding area residents to avoid traveling through high water.
