Lucas C. Ford, 34, of Odon, Indiana, went to Heaven, on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at his residence. He was born on November 12, 1987 in Franklin, Indiana to Aaron M. Ford and Lora L. (Schroeder) Conners. Lucas married his loving wife, Heather C. (Brock) Ford on October 17, 2009.
Lucas was a member of the Odon First Christian Church. He graduated from IU with a bachelor’s degree and was employed as the Human Resources Manager at Graber Post Buildings, Inc. Lucas enjoyed playing golf, mushroom hunting, riding his Quad, spending time outside and most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Family left to cherish the memory of Lucas include: his wife, Heather Ford of Odon; son, Gavin R. Ford, age 8 and daughter, Brinley H. Ford, age 6; his father, Aaron (Janie) Ford; his mother, Lora (Jeff) Conners; grandmother, Ruth Robinson, all of Morgantown; two sisters, Rachel A. Ford of Nineveh and Robyn R. Ford of Muncie.
Lucas was preceded in death by his brother, Paul A. Ford.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Micah Stephen officiating. Lucas will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 12 and from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
