The Washington Hatchet Boys lost a tough one Saturday falling to a very good Jasper team on the road 48-43. Hatchets go to 6-6 on the season.  

Pike Central picked up a nice pair of wins over the weekend. After topping Heritage Hills on Friday, the Chargers also beat Wood Memorial Saturday 52-37.

South Knox lost at Bloomfield 29-21.

Vincennes Lincoln fell to Sullivan 84-47.

Rivet lost to North Central 76-24.

Washington fought off a tough challenge in double- overtime from Gibson Southern and won 81-75. The loss was the first for the Titans in the conference, while Washington remains unbeaten. The Lady Hatchets will make up a game at Pike Central tonight. Tip-off is at 7:30 pm.

Barr Reeve fell to Forest Park 51-27.

Evansville North beat Jasper 49-23.

North Posey edged out Pike Central 45-44.

Southridge over Loogootee 46-39.

Vincennes Lincoln topped South Knox 63-53.

Rivet beat Mater Dei 50-46 .

Wood Memorial plays at Loogootee tonight.

South Knox will host Evansville Memorial.

Mt Vernon plays at Gibson Southern.

The Indiana Hoosiers will once again try for their first road win of the season when they square off against Nebraska Monday evening in Lincoln. IU is 12-4 overall, and 0-4 on the road after squandering a seven-point halftime lead at Iowa Thursday night. The Cornhuskers are 6-12 overall, and are still in search of their first Big Ten win after losing by 27 at Purdue Friday night. IU is favored by nine, with tip off at 6 p.m. Eastern.

Purdue faces Illinois Monday afternoon in a crucial Big Ten showdown in Champaign. The seventh-ranked Boilermakers are 14-2 overall and 4-2 in conference play after demolishing Nebraska Friday. The Fighting Illini are alone atop the conference standings at 6-0 in Big Ten play after beating Michigan Friday night. Monday’s matinee is sure to be hotly contested in the paint. Illinois center Kofi Cockburn (CO-burn) is top-five in the nation in both points and rebounds at 21.9 points and over 12 rebounds per game. The Purdue big man duo of Trevion Williams and Zach Edey combine for 28.7 points and 16.1 rebounds per contest. Purdue is a 1.5-point underdog, and the Boilers and Illini tip off at noon Eastern on FOX at the State Farm Center.

The Indiana Pacers begin a five-game Western Conference road trip Monday afternoon against the Los Angeles Clippers. Indiana enters having lost three in a row and eight out of nine. The Blue and Gold are 3-16 on the road this season, and have not won away from home since November 22nd. The Clippers are 21-23, and ninth in the West. Pacers center Myles Turner will miss the game due to a foot injury, and will get a second opinion, according to coach Rick Carlisle. Former Pacers star Paul George has not played for L.A. since suffering an elbow injury December 22nd. Indiana is 15-28, the first time the Blue and Gold have been 13 games under .500 since 2015. The Pacers and Clippers get underway at 3:30 p.m. Eastern at Crypto.com Arena.
