Daviess County Candidates have been busy filing for the 2022 Primary Election.
Currently, the ballot is all republican with nearly all candidates currently running unopposed.
Lauren Milton is running unopposed for County Clerk.
Daviess County Sheriff Gary Allison is seeking reelection unopposed.
Crystal Ostby is currently the sole candidate for County Assessor.
Council Members Tony Duncheon (District 2), Michael Myers (District 3), and Matt Meredith (District 4), are all seeking reelection.
Meredith will be running against Steve Roseberry who has filed on the republican ticket for District 4.
There are no changes to the council districts, however, the state map has seen some changes because of the latest census.
House District 63 will cover a little more of northern Daviess County and Senate District 39 will also cover the county despite changes to other parts of the district.
Candidate filing closes on April 4th.
