Byron Thomas “Tom” Kixmiller, 80 of Edwardsport, went to his heavenly home on Monday, January 17, 2022.
Tom was born in Vincennes, IN on April 27, 1941 to the late Hilbert and Helen Kixmiller.
Tom was a devoted family man and loved his church. He was an avid woodworker, enjoyed word searches and crossword puzzles, and tinkering with things. For many years he was employed by Kixmiller Brother’s Lime; after that he drove a school bus and was a custodian at North Knox School System until his retirement.
Tom is survived by; sons, Ben Kixmiller (Tara), Stacey Kixmiller, and Jason Kixmiller (Debbie); grandchildren, Owen, Ella, Bristynn, Jaxson, Jakob, Brayden, Jada, Bryant, Lauren, and Alyssa; and a sister, Joy Tooley.
He was preceded in death by; his wife, Joyce Hay Kixmiller; parents; and a son, Timothy Kixmiller; and a brother, David Kixmiller.
Visitation will be held at Bethel Church on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. with a service immediately following, burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
