Another candidate has announced their intention to run in the 2022 primary.
Commissioner Nathan Gabhart has announced his intention to run for re-election as Daviess County Commissioner in District 2.

Currently, the ballot is all republican with nearly all candidates currently running unopposed.
Lauren Milton is running unopposed for County Clerk.
Jennifer Welsh is the only person currently running for County Auditor.
Daviess County Sheriff Gary Allison is seeking reelection unopposed.
Daviess County Prosecutor Dan Murry is also seeking reelection unopposed.
Crystal Ostby is currently the sole candidate for County Assessor. Council Members Darin Holder (District 1), Tony Duncheon (District 2), Michael Myers (District 3), and Matt Meredith (District 4), are all seeking reelection.
Steve Roseberry had also filed on the republican ticket for District 4, but has since withdrawn his candidacy.
On the state side, Congressman Larry Bucshon is seeking another term.
State Representative Jeff Ellington is also seeking another term.
Both are currently unopposed.
