Number seven Purdue heads south today to face in-state rival Indiana at Assembly Hall. The Boilermakers have won the last nine games against the Hoosiers. Both teams were winners in their last contests, with IU defeating Nebraska 78-71 and Purdue winning in double overtime against Illinois 96-88. The Illinois win was Purdue’s ninth game scoring at least ninety points. Purdue holds the all time record with 124 wins. Tip off is at seven pm from Bloomington.
The Indiana Pacers ended their five game losing streak against the LA Lakers. The win is Indiana’s first since their twelve point home victory against the Jazz. Caris LeVert led in scoring with thirty as the Pacers improve to 16-29 on the year. They head to Golden State tonight. The win came on the second of a five game road series. The Pacers come home next Wednesday against Charlotte.
