The suspect in the murder of Terre Haute Police Detective Greg Ferency has been indicted by a federal grand jury.
Shane Meehan is facing charges of murder, attempted arson of federal property and using a firearm during a crime of violence causing death.
Meehan is accused of ambushing Ferency outside of the FBI building in Terre Haute back on July 7th, 2021.
Investigators say Meehan drove to the building in his truck, got out and threw a Molotov cocktail at the building.
When Ferency came outside, Meehan shot him in the head.
