Vada Culver

Vada Agness (Quick) Culver, 87, of Winslow died at 2:35 P.M., Tuesday, Jan 18, 2022 at her home she was surrounded by her daughter and care takes Marquette Cook and Cathy Small, Grandson Daren and her son-in-law Darrell.
She was born in Pike County, Indiana on April 10, 1934, the daughter of John Lewis Quick and Letta Mae Mason. She married Arthur Carroll Culver of Oakland City on December 12, 1952, and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2018. She was preceded in death by three brothers Gettis W. Quick, John W. Quick, and Kenneth (Zeke) Harper. She was preceded in death by two sisters Virginia Green and Patricia Sheetz. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Butch Small.
Surviving four daughters Cathy Small of Ayrshire, Marquette (Darrell) Cook of Winslow, Mary (Roger) Bartley of Georgia, and Carol (Dean) Duzan. She has 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Vada Culver worked at Memorial Hospital for 13 years in housekeeping and she retired from there.
Services for Vada will take place at 2 PM EST on Saturday, January 22, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 10 AM until service time. Pastor Eddie Willis will be officiating and burial will take place at Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
