There is a new community project underway at Eastside Park in Washington.
The intent of the project is to promote arts and culture in addition to bringing beauty to the community.
Kim Herbertz says the project is called “Yarn Art in the Park” …
The kickoff meeting for Yarn Art in the Park will be held at 4:30 pm tonight at the Community Building at Eastside Park.
All are invited to attend and find out how you can be involved in the first community-wide art installation.
Organizers say they would love to see businesses, community organizations, schools, clubs, and more represented.
