Several closures have been announced for tonight and tomorrow as the snow continues to pile.
Tonight….
Due to the inclement weather in the area, FIA Gold Shift production is cancelled for tonight 02/03/2022. Please do not report to work.
Second & Third Shifts at Gemtron in Vincennes have also been called off due to the weather.
Tomorrow…
All Daviess County Schools are again closed on Friday. It will be another eLearning day. Pike County, Loogootee, and Shoals Schools are also on eLearning. Girls Sectional games will be moved to Saturday.
All Daviess County and Washington City Offices and Departments will be closed Friday February 4th. Essential personnel will report for work; Police, Fire, Street (snowplows), and Water and Wastewater Department plant operators. There will be no trash pickup on Friday (2/4). Residents with Thursday or Friday trash pickup are asked to have their trash ready next week on their regular trash pick-up day. The Recycling Center will also be closed, and the City Transit will not be operating Friday. The Daviess County Landfill will also be closed.
All DCH clinics, including Quick Care, will be closed.
Senior and Family Services will be closed tomorrow (Friday 2/4), so there will be no pick-up meals or Meals on Wheels.
Washington Carnegie Public Library will be closed all day Friday, Feb 4th. They anticipate being open regular hours on Saturday (10-2).
The Washington Chrysler Center will be closed.
Hoefling Truck & Tractor, Inc. and Hoefling Cycle Sales will be closed.
