Mark Edward Nowaskie a.k.a. “Markle Sparkle” 72, of Vincennes, IN. passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022.
Mark was born in Vincennes, IN on December 13, 1949 to the late Ernie and Dorothy (Siewers) Nowaskie. Mark married his love Mary Christine (Steckler) Nowaskie, September 11, 1971 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Vincennes, IN
Mark was a Radiologic Technologist at Good Samaritan Hospital and retired after 47 years of service to the community.
He is survived by his wife Mary Nowaskie of Vincennes; his children; Anne Sutton (Mark) of Vincennes, IN, Lynne Hill (Josh) of Princeton,IN, Matthew Nowaskie (Dani) of Vincennes, IN, Monica Saunders (Tyler) Irmo, SC, Brothers; Steve Nowaskie (Jane) of Vincennes, IN, Randy Nowaskie (Brenda) of Bruceville, IN, and Sister Patty Wiswall (Charles) of Hazelwood, MO. Grandchildren include; Markayla Phipps and Trey Sutton, Colton and Gabe Hill, Luke and Josie Nowaskie, and Ava and Aubrey Saunders.
Mark was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Parish and enjoyed many activities and interests, including rosary making, praying and watching EWTN daily, mole trapping and grass mowing. He also enjoyed sending out daily inspirational texts to hundreds of loved ones. The thing he enjoyed most was spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Ernie and Dorothy (Siewers) Nowaskie and 3 grandchildren.
There will be a Rosary Service at 3:45 P.M. on Sunday February 6, 2022 with a Visitation from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Vincennes Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Vincennes on Monday February 7, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery in Vincennes. Due to family allergies, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred and may be made in Mark’s memory for Memorial Masses, or to EWTN Catholic Network, Christian Education Foundation for the Vincennes Catholic Schools, or St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
