Betty B. Fox, 64, passed away at 9:08 pm on February 1, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Betty was born on November 15, 1957 in Vincennes and she was the daughter of James R. and Catherine L. (Taylor) Threlkeld. Betty married Thomas Roland Fox on February 28, 2000.
Betty attended St. John United Church of Christ and enjoyed her pool and her flowers. She especially loved being with her family, her grandchildren, and her dog Chewy.
Survivors include her dad, Jim Threlkeld of Vincennes, her children, Jim Steffey and his wife Bridget of Odon, IN, Chris Steffey and his wife Abbe of Vincennes, Dawn Lake and her husband Ben of Vincennes, Kim Edwards and her husband Steven of Washington; sisters, Mary Steffey and her husband Steve of Vincennes, Peggy Gilliatt of Palestine; twenty-eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her mother Catherine Threlkeld.
Thomas R. Fox, 71, passed away at 12:13 pm on February 3, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Tom was born on January 24, 1951 in Daviess County, IN and was the son of Dallas and Mable (Gammon) Fox. Tom married Betty Threlkeld on February 28, 2000 and she preceded him in death on February 1, 2022.
Tom served his country in the United States Army and he enjoyed working in his yard, his guns, and coins. He especially loved being with his family, his grandchildren, and his dog Chewy.
Survivors include his children, Kim Edwards and her husband Steven of Washington, Jim Steffey and his wife Bridgett of Odon, Chris Steffey and his wife Abbe of Vincennes, Dawn Lake and her husband Ben of Vincennes; his siblings, Melvin Fox of Washington, Linda Gill and her husband Lyle of Jasper, Beverly Lovett of Plainville, Betty Jo Thompson of Gettysburg, PA, Shirley Cerveny of Washington, Rita Taylor of Washington; twenty-eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas and Mable Fox, his sister, Rozella Fox, and his grandson, Thomas Justin Fox.
