An oubreat of avian flu on a farm in Dubois County mean 29,000 turkeys are being destroyed.
The outbreak is the first in Indiana since 2016, according the Indiana Board of Animal Health.
The turkeys are being destroyed to try and contain the outbreak.
Seventeen farms in the area will be under quarantine, and birds at those farms will have to be tested.
