A Jasper man was arrested for Public Intoxication over the weekend.
Just before 9:00 pm Friday night, the Jasper Police Department says they were dispatched to assist EMS in reference to a male subject who was having difficulty breathing.
Upon officers’ arrival, the male subject, identified as 25-year-old Jose Soto Casiano, was found to be inside his vehicle and intoxicated.
Officers say he was uncooperative with EMS and that he had been in an altercation with another subject earlier in the evening.
Casiano was transported to Memorial Hospital and medically cleared.
He was then charged with Public Intoxication and booked into the Dubois County Jail.
