Brady Byrd wrapped up his high school Sophomore season at the Wrestling Semistate on Saturday. Brady suffered a first-round loss to Bloomington South’s Cameron Meier, losing by decision 8-1. Congratulations on a great season!

The Indiana Hoosiers host the 15th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers Tuesday night at Assembly Hall in a crucial Big Ten showdown. IU has lost three straight games, and needs a victory to help continue to build an NCAA Tournament résumé. The Hoosiers are 16-8 with a 7-7 record in Big Ten play. The Badgers are coming off a home loss to Rutgers, and Wisconsin is 19-5 on the season. Hoosiers forward Trayce Jackson-Davis has struggled over the past three games with 12 points per game and a 34 percent shooting percentage, well below his season averages. Back in December, Indiana blew a 22-point lead and fell to Wisconsin 64-59 in Madison. IU is favored by 3.5-points, with tip off at 9 p.m. Eastern in Bloomington.

Purdue dropped two spots to number five in the Associated Press college basketball poll released Monday. The Boilermakers went 2-1 last week, with home victories over Illinois and Maryland, and a blowout loss at Michigan. Purdue is 22-4 on the season, with an 11-4 Big Ten mark. Gonzaga regained the top spot, as Auburn fell to number two after losing to Arkansas. Arizona jumped up to number three, followed by Kentucky and Purdue to round out the top five. The Boilermakers return to action Wednesday night at Northwestern.

The Indiana Pacers will look to snap a six-game losing streak Tuesday night on the road against the Milwaukee Bucks. The defending NBA champs have had the Pacers’ number of late, and have won seven straight and 11 out of 12 over Indiana. The Bucks are coming off a home loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. Defending Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo (aan-tuh-tuh-KOOM-poh) did not play due to ankle soreness. Pacers rookie guard Chris Duarte will miss the game with a toe injury suffered in Sunday’s loss to Minnesota. Fellow first round pick Isaiah Jackson is out once again with an ankle sprain. Guard Malcolm Brogdon is questionable to play against his former team. Brogdon has not played since January 19th due to a sore right Achilles. The Pacers and Bucks get underway at 8 p.m. Eastern Tuesday.
