Carroll Edward Edrington, 85, of Winslow, passed away February 16, 2022 at his residence. He was born February 7, 1937 to Doyle and Esther (Gentry) Edrington in Spurgeon, IN. Carroll obtained his Master’s Degree from Indiana State University and taught school at Winslow High School and Pike Central High School. He married his wife, Jessie (Arnold) Edrington on May 12, 1957.
Carroll is survived by his wife, Jessie Edrington; granddaughter, Paige (Ben) Dunn; 1 great grandchild arriving in June; brother, Don Edrington; and sister, Margaret Chandler.
He is preceded in death by his son, Tom Edrington; his parents; brother, Paul Edrington; and an infant sister.
Services for Carroll will take place at 1 PM EST on Monday, February 21, 2022, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 10 AM until service time. Pastors Joe Henson and Eddie Willis will be officiating and burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Campbelltown, IN.
