Joseph Coy Frye, 59, of Bloomington, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022.
Joseph was born in Washington, IN on July 5, 1962 to Robert Frye and Barbara Myers Lyons.
Joseph was a 1981 North Knox graduate and from there joined the United States Army; where he was an infantry medic. He attended Asbury Chapel in his younger years.
Those left to mourn the loss of Joseph are; parents, Robert Frye of Patoka, Barbara Lyons of Springville, IN; a son, Benjamin Frye and daughter in law Samantha of Elnora; and a grandson, Barret Frye; siblings, Emma Frye of Springville and a brother, Tim Frye of Crane.
He was preceded in death by; paternal grandparents, Marjorie and Virgil Frye and maternal grandparents, Emma and Joseph “Dick” Myers.
There will be a visitation on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Bicknell Chapel. A service will follow at Royal Oak Cemetery immediately after the visitation.
