The winter weather continues today.
Authorities have responded to multiple accidents throughout the area due to ice on the roads.
They are recommending everyone stay home if possible.
Most everybody in the state will see some sort of snow and ice in the forecast.
Forecasters expect snow and ice from Fort Wayne down to Indianapolis, then again for a swath of southern Indiana.
There will be more snow to the north, and more ice in the south. Some spots in the state could see up to three inches of snow.
We here in southwest Indiana could see some more freezing rain throughout today. Much of that will melt off by about 2:00 pm as daytime highs will reach about 40 degrees.
Temperatures dip back into he 20s tonight so it is likely to all refreeze.
The weekend looks to be be partly sunny with temperatures hanging around the 40s.
