Crews responded to a multi vehicle crash on the Southbound Patoka River Bridge on I-69 last night.
Ten vehicles were involved with multiple patients transported.
One patient was located under the bridge approximately 30 feet below the roadway on a parcel of dry ground in between the river and floodwaters.
Firefighters located a path to the patient via CR 300 W and were able to recover and transport the patient to an awaiting ambulance.
The severity of injuries are unknown.
