Theresa Durham, 85, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Theresa was born on November 6, 1936 in Vincennes and she was the daughter of Cletus and Anna (Halter) Carie.
Theresa was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Theresa worked for Wal-Mart and Long John Silvers.
Survivors include her daughters, Cathy Summers and her husband Brian, Theresa Glenn and her husband Fred, Evelyn Arnett and her husband Don; siblings, Ambrose Carie and his wife Connie, Regina Arthur, Lillian Sheren and her husband Dave; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Theresa is preceded in death by her parents, Cletus and Anna Carie; brothers, Vernon, Francis, Steve, Henry, Bob, and Cletus Carie and sisters, Mary Stone, and Margie Covey; one granddaughter, one great grandson, and her brother-in-law, George Arthur.
Friends may visit with Theresa’s family on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. Rev. Tony Ernst will officiate and Theresa will be laid to rest in St. Thomas Cemetery. Online memories may be shared with Theresa’s family and friends at www.goodwinsievers.com.
