An Evansville man was arrested last week for Dealing Marijuana among other charges.
On Thursday night around 10:20 pm, a State Trooper stopped the driver of a white Chrysler 300 on Wabash Avenue just south of the Lloyd Expressway for failing to signal. The driver was identified as 23-year-old Dalton Keller of Evansville. Officers say while talking with Keller, they observed a bag containing marijuana inside the vehicle.
Troopers searched Keller and removed approximately $840 from his sweatpants pocket and a joint containing marijuana. The bag inside the vehicle contained approximately 122 grams of marijuana. A further search of the vehicle revealed two bags of cannabis edibles and another bag containing a small amount of marijuana.
Troopers continued their investigation and searched Keller’s residence where they found one unloaded handgun, over 4,000 grams of cannabis edibles, about 448 grams of marijuana, 30 grams of an unknown substance, 15 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, drug paraphernalia, and over $14,000. All the items were seized.
Keller was arrested and taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail where he is currently being held without bond.
He is charged with Dealing Marijuana with a Prior Conviction, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Operating a Vehicle While Never Receiving a Driver’s License.
