Sue Karns passed away from this life on Saturday, February 19, 2022 in Vincennes, Indiana at the age of 81. She was born on Tuesday, October 8, 1940 in Linton Indiana.
Those left to cherish her memories include the love of life and best friend Larry Karns, one daughter Angie Steffy husband John, two granddaughters Jennifer Steffy, Emily Steffy, one brother Robert Peltier, along with other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Earl Pershing Howell, Evelyn Theron Fogle Howell, adopted father Bob Peltier, one son Larry Otis Karns, and one brother Earl David Howell.
Sue graduated in 1960 from Lincoln High School. She married the love of her life Larry Karns on August 25, 1962 and was married for 59 wonderful years. Sue loved her family very much. Spending time with them was very important to her. Riding the golf cart two and three times a day with Larry was her favorite thing to do. She also enjoyed playing BINGO and B2 was her favorite call number. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed her flowers around the house. She will be deeply missed by all!
Funeral services celebrating the life of Sue Karns will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home Gardner Brockman Chapel, 505 Main Street Vincennes Indiana. Officiating will be Pastor Trevor Murry. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes, Indiana. Under the direction of Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home Gardner Brockman Chapel.
