Viola Irene Richards Phipps 75 of Vincennes went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. She was born in Flatrock, IL to on January 19, 1947 to the late James O. Richards and Agnes M. Woolard. Viola retired as a CNA and enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by; children, Karl E. Phipps, Carol Eakins, Tammy Miles, Tina Marie Drech Phipps (Shawn Drech); grandchildren, Timothy Eakins, Courtney Eakins, Tasha Gowen, Gregory Head, Benjamin Miles, Brandon Miles, Jordan Miles, and Felicia McNew; siblings, Kevin Wayne Richards, and Brenda Kay West.
She was preceded in death by; her parents James O. Richards and Agnes M. “Woolard” Richards; husband, Karl Leroy Phipps; siblings, Debbie Gosser, James Orrvile Richards Jr.
