A former Bedford Police officer is facing charges following a misconduct complaint.
45-year-old Morgan Lee of Bedford was arrested following an investigation into a battery incident that allegedly happened on January 8th of last year in Lawrence County.
The investigation started when Bedford Chief of Police, Terry Moore, received a complaint from a citizen that Lee had battered them.
Indiana State Police was then notified and conducted the investigation.
Lee is now charged with Official Misconduct, Strangulation, and Battery.
He turned himself into the Lawrence County Jail on Friday.
