The Queen of Terre Haute casino is one step closer to being built.
The Terre Haute City Council approved the rezoning of 50 acres where construction is planned, in a vote last Thursday evening.
Before construction can begin, Churchill Downs, the company building the “Queen”, must get approval from the Indiana Gaming Commission, a height variance from the city, and approval from the FAA because it will be constructed close to the airport.
