The Daviess County Commissioners met for their regular session on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the commissioners passed a resolution dealing with department credit cards. The board also approved an interlocal agreement with the City of Washington to continue EMA services.
Finally, the board discussed the county’s website. The topic was brought up by Commissioner Nathan Gabhart who noted that for Daviess County to be considered, “broadband ready”, the county needed to meet certain requirements. One of those requirements was allowing broadband providers to apply for permits online.
Commissioner Michael Taylor also noted he would like the website evaluated to see if more user friendly improvements could be made.
The board agreed to add webform capabilities to the website in addition to evaluating the website for future enhancements.
