A Washington man has been arrested for rape.
On March 5, a Washington Police Department Detective began an investigation after receiving a report of an alleged sexual assault.
A search warrant was later served at a residence on West Walnut Street in Washington by officers with WPD and the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.
26-year-old Jesus Rivera-Laviena was arrested on Friday without incident.
He is charged with Rape, Attempted Rape, Criminal Confinement with Bodily Injury, Sexual Battery, and Domestic Battery.
