It’s Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Indiana. And Today’s focus is on severe weather warnings. The National Weather Service will issue Test Tornado Warnings TODAY (Tuesday) between 10:00 am and 10:30 am. The national weather service says it’s everyone’s job in these drills to test your tornado plans that seek safe shelter areas. Today is a reminder to review your actions and amend your safety plans if needed. The National Weather Service calls all to act and be an example for others, by taking cover and taking along your pets to designated storm-resistant locations. The National Weather Serve says you should also monitor sources for emergency information when severe weather hits.
