Officers rescued a driver stranded in flood waters over the weekend.
Daviess County Sheriff Deputies and Daviess County Emergency Management responded to the scene on State Road 358 on Saturday.
Officers say the driver had driven around the road closed barricades and into moving flood water.
Sheriff Deputies and Emergency Management saw the vehicle in the flood water and determined it would be quicker for Knox County responders to assist the driver with their hovercraft.
Knox County Responders completed the rescue and Indiana Conservation Officers were also on scene.
Area departments remind motorists to NEVER drive through flood water.
